Saturday, Sumy (UKR) took place in the 20km road walk championships for senior and U23 categories.
	 
	 
	20km men
	 
	Ruslan Dmytrenko (UKR) won in men race with the time of 1:22:35 who got the qualification for the upcoming World Championships in London.
	In the lead from the first km, the strong Ukranian athlete has easily won with these split times:
	- 5km: in 20:46
	- 10km: in 42:24 (20:38)
	- 15km: in 1:03:08 (20:44)
	- last 5km: in 20:41
	Second place for Andriy Kovenko (UKR) in 1:25:36
	Third place for Valeriy Litaniuk (UKR) in 1:26:12
	 
	Eighteen athletes at the start; 12 completed the race, 2 DNF and 4 DQ
	 
	 
	20km women
	 
	Not starting Inna Kashina and Nadia Borovska already qualified for London 2017 in Podebrady had no difficulty in winning by Valentyna Mironchuk (UKR) with the time of 1:35:22 (new personal best; previous 1:35:28 obtained in Rome on May 8, 2016).
	Here are her split times:
	- 5km: in 23:14
	- 10km: in 46:53 (23:39)
	- 15km in 1:11:07 (24:14)
	- last 5km: in 24:48
	Second place for Alina Tsviliy (UKR) in 1:37:13
	Third place for Tamara Stasyuk (UKR) in 1:37:28 which was also the first in the U23.
