On August 6, 2017 we have published in the section
Techniques, Rules and Conventions -> sub-section: Publications and reports on Race Walking -> Year 2017 (for english section)
the report of our colleague race walking judge of NACAC Area (Lev. II) Sandra Guadalupe Colin Gonzalez (MEX), who teaches psychology finalized to
- the mental and cognitive processes
- the sensations of the judge
- the attentions of the judge
- what is the motivation of the race walking judge that push him to do so ?
- and in particular the judges cognitive process of manipulating information.
Some coaches had found this publication of great interest and asked to enrich it with some specific example aimed at "emotional intelligence."
We thank Sandra Guadalupe Colin Gonzalez (MEX) for having once again perfected this work that, for the specificity in place, represents a real framework in which the judges' psychological-cognitive processes should move independently of the decisions of technical character.
The Spanish and English versions have been updated accordingly and have 32 pages.
