Beautiful race with 3 athletes under 1:29:00 which taking into account the weather conditions have been all-important performance.
The race was decided in the last lap and won by sprint from Ni Jingjing in 1:28:43, not far from the personal best of 1:27:51 established in 2015. Second the twenty-two year old Duan Dandan close to her personal best (1:28:37). Third Liang Rui in 1:28: 50 she too close to P.B. (1:28:43).
