The next weekend is dedicated to the 2017 finals of Club’s Championships.

They are the most important races for Clubs throughout the season, those who rank the Italian Clubs Champion title on track. It is clear that all teams are looking to participate with their most representative athletes.

The most important final is the "Gold" that will be held in Modena.

Race races on the distance of 10.000m on track for men and 5.000m on track for women will take place on Saturday Sep. 23, 2017 at 18:20.

Interesting are the duels that look in this Gold Final.

10.000m track walk men

The win should be a matter of two, between Francesco Fortunato (39:44.14) and Leonardo Dei Tos (40: 06.73) and the race represents the revenge of 9th Crasso's Trophy walked in Trieste on Sep. 10, 2017.

In Trieste, in an incessant rain, on a road course with many curves in the city center, Francesco Fortunato prevailed (41:43) in front of Leonardo Dei Tos (41:52).

Interesting also will be the local U23, Cesare Cozza, who always in Trieste on the occasion of the Absolute Individual Championships on track got the sixth place with the personal best of 42:48.55

5.000m track walk women

Even more interesting should be the female race.

Five should be the candidates for the victory that are more or less equivalent in performance results.

That are: Sibilla Di Vincenzo (22:04.18), Nicole Colombi (22:50.52), Diana Cacciotti (22:54.59), Maria Vittoria Becchetti (22:59.78) and Eleonora Dominici without result in 5.000m track walk, but with a good 46:50.17 (obtained in Florence on June 10, 2017) on the double distance on track.

The race is also interesting from a technical point of view.

All five athletes had a season with lights and some shadows. Among the last one: Sibilla Di Vincenzo was disqualified in the European Cup in Podebrady (CZE), Nicole Colombi in Bydgoszcz at the U23 European Championships, Diana Cacciotti in Florence at the Italian U23 Championships, Maria Vittoria Becchetti in Trieste at the Absolute Italian Championships, and Eleonora Dominici in Orvieto in the track race of the Italian Championships of race walk.
