Only ninth, Mariavittoria Becchetti who completes the race (25:29.75) for signing honor (and for the team) as injured to a knee.

All in the group up to 5km (22:26.0) then Dei Tos force the pace and remain in four.
The unexpected happens: Cesare Cozza, a young home athlete, force the pace and gains a few meters on Dei Tos and Fortunato, but they almost fall short.
In the fourth position Ettore Grillo is behind them and fifth place for Davide Marchesi.
Still force the pace Cesare Cozza and to lead remain into three.
Very well the walk of Cesare Crozza while Fortunato seems to play the cat with the mice.
When they miss seven rounds Dei Tos force the pace and follows the only Francesco Fortunato. Cesare Cozza, who until now had been the main protagonist of the race, lose a few meters: in any case congratulations for having tried and revived the race. We will hear about this young man.
Dei Tos gains a few meters on Fortunato who reacts and four laps to go goes to lead and leaves Dei Tos five meters.
Fortunato continues in his action and the advantage over Dei Tos increases.
