The last major race for the U16 in Italy is approaching: the Italian Individual Championships and for Regions that will take place in Cles (TN) next Saturday with the following schedule:

- 15:25 hours: 3.000m track walk girls 

- 16:45 hours: 5.000m track walk boys

In the 3,000m girls race, the only two athletes under 15:00.00 are Angela Di Fabio (14:22.96) and Veronica Vinci (14:51.36).

Very little over the 15:00.00 Martina Casiraghi (15:00.44) with two other athletes under 15:10.00: Luce Accordi (15:07.6) and Giada Loreti (15:09.95).

Very interesting is the number of entered athletes (36) which, as usual in this category, provides an interesting race for the regional team title.

Also in the 5.000m boys race there are two youngsters under 23:00.00: Gabriele Gamba (22:40.40) and Daniele Breda (22:54.86).

Behind them is Andrea Angioletti (23:10.10), followed by Francesco Netti (23:17.91) and Jacopo Capodifoglio (23:17.93), more distant Emiliano Brigante (23:49.82)

It's nice to note that the first three athletes come from Lombardy.

If the results were to be confirmed by the time of accreditation, it appears from now on that Lombardy, at least as far as race walk is concerned, will not have difficulty imposing the winner's seal.

Also in boys very interesting is the number of entered athletes (34).
