This time she walked for a noble purpose in the 33rd edition of Trofeo de Marcha Villa del Neria - Memorial Tomas Santaoalla, which was organized together with the Josep Carreras Foundation for the fight against leukemia, which among other things was valid as the last Challenge of the Asociacion Espanola de Marcha Atletica (AEMA).
The race was held on Sunday October 1, 2017 on the distance of 5km

Victory to Fabian Bernabé (FRA) with the time of 21:27 representing the athlete's new personal best on this unusual distance (previous 22:05 obtained in Toledo, ESP on Nov. 24, 2012).
Second place to José Manuel Perez Rubio (ESP) in 21:43
Third place to Juan Antonio Porras (ESP) in 21:56.

Victory to Ainhoa Pinedo (ESP) in 22:38 (which touches the 22:21 personal best established in Toledo, ESP on Nov. 27, 2010) and this year on the distance on track had achieved a good 21:56.55 in San Sebastian, ESP on May 20th.
