Last week (Saturday, 30 September 2017) a meeting was held in Varazdin between the nationals teams of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia as the organizing Country.
Two athletes/races also included the two race walk events, male and female, both on the distance of 3,000 on track.
Interestingly, the comparison between the three most advanced Countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary) and those developing the activity of race walk (Slovenia and Croatia) especially at the youth level.
We would like to recall this impetus given to Slovenia (but also to neighboring Croatia) by Fabio Ruzzier, who is strong in dual citizenship, Italian and Slovene, is trying to provide support to the youthful activity of Slovenia in particular.
The accreditation times of the young athletes participating, favored Hungary and so it was: the Hungarian athletes were to win both the races.
