18/10/2017   Ivano-Frankivsk (UKE): good results in 50km women






Last Sunday, 15/10, 20 athletes (13 males and 7 females) compete in Ivano-Frankivsk for Ukraine's 50km championships for both men and women.

Departures were deferred in 2 minutes for men and women (9:00 and 9:02 hours).
The women's race had a particular interest in participating in the next World Team Championships in Taicang 2018, which women are also eligible for.
 
50km women
 
The winner of the test was Khrystyna Yudkina with a time of 4: 32.14. This result puts him seventh in the world list of the year (second European).
Particularly interesting are her split times every 10km (55.00, 53.17, 53.31, 53.32 and 56.54) and even those of the first half race in 2:15:02 and the second half in 2:17:02.
In any case, there are good technical indicators also provided for the other two women on the podium who have recorded less than 4:40:00.
Second place to Kseniya Radko (4:34:49) with a first half race in 2:12:15 that had seen her in front on the race, but with a second in 2:22:34.
Third place for Vasylyna Vitovshchyk (4:37:55) and with the two half races in 2:13:21 - 2:24:34.
In the fourth a Serbian athlete, Dušica Topić, with 4:41:55.
 
 
50km men
 
In the men's win to Andriy Hrechkovskyy in 4:01:14, with two half races covered at 2:00:43 and 2:00:30 and the following split times every 10km: 48.31, 48.05, 48.14, 48.39 and 47.44.
Only 45 seconds later arrives the second, Ihor Saharuk in 4:01:58 (2:00:25 and 2:01:33), passed by Hrechkovskyy at the 44km.
Third place to Valeriy Litanyuk in 4:03:55 (2:00:30 and 2:03:24).
