Last Saturday in Pecs (HUN) took place the 4th edition of the Marcz Robert International race walk Meeting on the 10km distance.
Good participation in men's race with 16 athletes at the start, a little less in women, with just four athletes at the start.
10km men
Victory by Bence Venyercsan (HUN) in 43:57.
The Hungarian athlete, who repeats the success of last year, this year had a particularly positive season with a number of personal bests in the following distances:
- 5.000m track walk: 20:07.64 - Budapest (HUN), on Jun. 30, 2017
- 10,000m track walk: 41:48.29 - Miskolc (HUN), on May 13, 2017
- 10km road walk: 41:21 - Tatabanya (HUN), on Jun. 3, 2017
- 20km road walk: 1:25:29 - Bekescsaba (HUN), on Apr. 20, 2017
Bence Venyercsan prevailed only 9" on the second, Tomasz Bagdany (HUN) who finished the race in 44:06
Third place to Balint Sarossi (HUN) in 44:51. Sarossi (year of birth 2000) is the firsr in category U18.
10km women
Victory to Ivana Renic (CRO) with the time of 50:40 representing the new personal best on this distance (previousof 52:08 established at Tatabanya, HUN last Jun. 3, 2017).
Second place to Rita Recsei (HUN) in 51:46.
Third place to Rabne Recsei Petra (HUN) in 53:47
