Last Saturday (Oct. 29, 2017) they returned to race after a long break in Uzhgorod (UKR) for the Carpathian Cup.
There were teams from nine regions of Ukraine and foreign athletes coming from Latvia and Hungary.
In addition to the most important race, the 10km road walk, there were also races on the lower distances for younger age groups.
The day, however, was completely rainy, without a pause, but in spite of time, some performance was pretty good.
10km women
Victory to Khrystyna Yudkina (UKR) in 45:55 (new personal best on distance, previous of 50:16 obtained in Lustsk, UKR on June 26, 2016).
Second place to Yelena Shevchuck (UKR) in 48:56.
Third place to Marianna Goncharova (UKR) in 49:37 (new personal best on distance, previous of 53:08 obtained in Kiev, UKR on May 19, 2007).
10km men
Victory to Valeriy Litanyuk (UKR) in 42:38 (new personal best on distance, previous of 44:53 obtained in Lustsk, UKR on June 26, 2016).
Second place to Raivo Saulgrieziz (LAT) in 43:01 (new personal best on distance, previous of 46:13 obtained at Druskininkai, LTU on Sep. 12, 2015).
Third place to Kyrylo Andrushchenko (UKR) in 43:29.
