28/11/2017   Lugo (ESP): brothers Chamosa Dacasa win the XXIX Winter Championships of Galicia

Saturday, November 25, 2017 took place on the track of the city of Lugo (ESP), the XXIX Galicia Winter race walking Championships.

Galicia is a historic region for race walk in Spain, with many athletes but above all on the organizational level.
It is in fact the Gallega Federation of Athletics and the city of La Coruna that carries on the organization of one of the most important competitions (and on one of the most beautiful course) of the world circuit of the IAAF Challenge: the Cantones de La Coruna.
In addition, Galicia has given birth to one of the most well-known high-level IAAF judges: Dolores Rojas Suarez.
It is not surprising, then, that there is an important numerical participation in a Regional Championship (132 athletes representing 29 clubs): development produces proselytes.

While our readers will find even those of the smaller categories, we are only focusing on the two most important competitions.
