13/12/2017   Antonio Amigo Alvarez (ESP) - Race walking technique






We continue to publish the proceedings of the International Seminar of Guadix (ESP) with the presentation of Antonio Amigo Alvarez (GBR).

 

The seminar held Saturday, December 9th in the context of the VII Campeonato de Espana de Marcha Atletica and the XXXII Grand Prix Ciudad de Guadix - XIII Memorial "Manuel Alcalde" had as its theme a series of technical insights.

 

These include the report by Antonio Amigo Alvarez, a professional technical illustrator illustrating patents and industrial models. He is the Director and Inventor of the "RWECS" IAAF (Race Walking Electronic Control System) project carried out in collaboration with CIT-UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).

Walker from the age of 15 until today. Several times a 5km and 10km regional race walk champion, as well as a walking coach at the CA Sant Just Club.

 

Today we present in the section "Techniques, Rules and Conventions", subsection "Conventions" his presentation at the Guadix seminar.
