Perhaps the results as a whole will not have been of high standard, but seeing a similar level of participation in the Regional Indoor Championships of the Gironde (Bordeaux last Saturday Dec. 16, 2017) can only be a pleasure.

They were eighteen at the start, which for a regional championship is an interesting number even for a Country, France, where race walk is an important specialty in terms of medals.

Victory to Jean Franck Vanoostuyse (FRA) with the time of 22:36.16, almost one minute from his personal best of 21:38.99 which dates back to February 21, 2009 and established in Lievin (FRA).

Second place to Dorian Adam (FRA) in 23:56.36

Third place to Adrien Saint-Marc (FRA) in 23:57.11

3.0000m indoor walk women

Also in this race, a high participation with 18 athletes at the start.

Victory to Laury Cerantola (FRA) with the time of 14:23.04, new personal best (previous of 15:00.11 always established in Bordeaux, FRA on February 11, 2012).

The 25 year old French athlete,  of the Club S.A. Merignac, two weeks ago, at Balma Meeting had obtained the third place behind Chahineze Nasri (TUN) and Amandine Marcou (FRA) on the 10,000m track.

Second place to Lydia Garrouty (FRA) in 15:18.95

Third place to Jeanne Bella (FRA) in 15:19.01
