We close the exciting year 2017 with the presentation of the first race of 2018 that will be held again this year on the island of Stonecutter in Hong Kong.

Organized by the Hong Kong Race Walking Association, "The first walk 2018" will take place tomorrow as per following schedule:

- 50km men and women: 9:00 am

- 20km men and women: 11:00 am

- 10km U20 men and women 2.30 pm

moreover, starting at 10:00 am there will be a race on the 6 hours walk, and again at 2:50 pm a race for U18 (born from 2001 to 2004, boys and girls) on 5km.

In the 50km entries are 10 athletes (5 men and 5 women), in the 20km are enterered 13 athletes (8 men and 5 women) while in the 10km U20 the participants are 8 (5 men and 3 women).

Numerically higher participation is the 6-hour race, typical of long-distance races in Hong Kong, with as many as 23 participants (6 men and 17 women).
