Despite being still U20 Meryem Bekmez (TUR) has dominated far and wide coming alone to the finish line in 21 54.25 which represents the new absolute record of Turkey as well as that of category U20. The previous one, belonging to her, was established in the same race in Istanbul on Juamuary 14, 2017 in 22:05.38
We recall that the young athlete of Turkey, boasts about the distance on the track an excellent 22:32.79 which earned her last July 15, 2017 the silver medal at the U18 World Championships in Nairobi.
Even the splits times to 2,000m (8.35.50) and 3,000m (13:05.40) constitute the best national performances on relevant distances.
In the second series U20 victory for Secil Akpinar (TUR) in 25: 53.42 ahead of Inci Cicek (TUR) in 26: 30.50.

As expected, the victory went to Salih Korkmaz (TUR) in 20:00.50 which boasts all Turkish records on the distance both absolute and U23 (19:33.57) and U20 (20:20.81).
Second place to Mert Atli (TUR) in 20:07.50
Third place to Serkan Dogan (TUR) in 28:18.24
