This morning took place in Grosseto the first race of the Italian Clubs Championship on the main distance of 35km for both men and women.
35km men
- at 10km:
Three athletes took the lead, Marco de Luca, Giorgio Rubino and Federico Tontodonati in 44:14 (22:03 in the first 5km and 22:01 in the second 5km) on the pace of 4:25/km.
Unfortunately, Federico Tontodonati is charged by a red card, and this is not good news for one of the protagonists.
This is followed by Andrea Agrusti (45:45), Stefano Chiesa (45:53).
A bit more back Leonardo dei Tos (46:24), who race after a recent flu.
Still behind Michele Antonelli (48:03) who evidently chose a different race strategy starting more slowly.

Some technical considerations
From some coaches present on the course we have collected substantially judgments in line with the acivity of the jury, and this can only please.
Let's add that finally the disqualification board shows the error indications much more in line with those of an international judgment.
Pit Lane, this year also operating also in the senior category events, it worked only in two cases.
In Grosseto, however, this rule was not used for senior categories.
