02/02/2018   Riga (LAT): Agnese Pastare and Ruslan Smolonskis 2018 Latvian Indoor Champions

We end the reports on last week's news with the Latvian indoor championships that took place in the small indoor facility in Riga: small but functional with a three-lane oval and a 60m-long central four-lane straight.

The two walking races (on the usual distances of 5,000m for men and 3,000m for women) took place on Saturday 27th January, coinciding with the trials of women's pentathlon and men's heptathlon. In addition to the two tests of the senior category, the same distance for the U20s and U18s was followed, and events on less distances for the U16 and U14 were carried out.
