On the 1st day of the Greek Indoor championship, took place the race walking events, on the usual distances of 3.000m for women and 5.000m for men.
During the first day of the Championships, Segas Federation awarded the U20 women's team (D Mpochori, S. Alikamioti and A. Vaitsi) for the silver medal obtained in the European Cup of Podebrady last year.
