Also in this race we witness, in the first part of the race, the solitary adventure of Maria Perez (ESP).
Hersplit time to 20km is 1:34:50, and just before she has dubbed the most important opponents: Ainhoa Pinedo (ESP), Julia Takacs (ESP), Amanda Cano (ESP) and Mar Juarez (ESP).
At 25km (but it was scheduled) Maria Perez abandons the race (1:57:54).
After she stopped, the situation in the lead is as follows: in front is Julia Takacs followed by Amanda Cano and then by Ainhoa Pinedo and Mar Juarez (which however will stop at 35km).
Victory to Julia Takacs (ESP) in 4:13:04 new Spanish record (previous of Maria Dolores Marcos Valero in 4:48:26 obtained in Naumburg on April 23, 2017).
