Today in Nantes (FRA) the classic indoor U20 meeting took place with the two walking events on the distance of 5,000m men and 3,000m women.

 
 
5.000m men
 
A double victory to  France as was foreseeable.
David Kuster (FRA) born on March 25, 1999 once again signs the new personal best in 19:41.46 (previous of 19:46.73 obtained past Feb. 18, 2018 in Lievin, FRA).
Second place to Justin Bournier (FRA) in 20:30.84.
Third place to Diego Chirivì (ITA) in 21:33.76.
 
Davide Marchesi does not compete for Italy, but his substitute, Matteo Gallo (ITA) does not regret arriving fifth but with the new personal best on the indoor distance of 21:43.46 (previous 22:11.66, obtained in Ancona on Feb. 3, 2018)

Germany dominates in the women's competition, in turn in a double.
Victory to Julia Richter (GER) in 14:00.33 which is the new season best on the distance of the athlete.
Second place to Carolin Kirchner (GER) in 14:07.12 new personal best (previous of 14:12.28 obtained in Potsdam, GER on Jan. 13, 2018).
Third place to Manon Lefresne (FRA) in 14:09.30 also for her new personal best (previous of 14:13.36 obtained in Rennes, FRA on Dec. 3, 2017).
 
Under the personal best the two Italians in the race Ida Mastrangelo (4th place) and Anthea Mirabello (6th place)
