Interesting competitive test on the short distance of 5,000m track walk by Eleonora Anna Giorgi yesterday afternoon at the XXV Aprile track in Milan, on the occasion of the Walk & Middle Distance Night.
5.000m women track walk
Only five athletes at the start, and the race was focused only on Eleonora Anna Giorgi (ITA) who had no difficulty in winning with the time of 21:39.68, after passing at 2,000m in an unofficial 8:32, and after the morning training on the distance of 20km.
For the Italian record holder of 20km this result is the sixth all-time on the distance as in the following table:
