Yesterday Saturday, May 19, 2018 the two walkin events of the National Athletics University Championships in Athletics were held in Isernia.
The two tests took place on the distance of 5,000m track walk.
5.000m track walk men
Seven athletes at the start.
Victory for Francesco Fortunato (ITA) with the time of 20:28.02.
Little more than a training for the athlwete of Fiamme Gialle who boasts on the distance the personal best of 18:53.91 established in Modena (ITA) on June 17, 2016.

5.000m track walk women
The favorite of the race was certainly Mariavittoria Becchetti (ITA), but she had to deal with the fatigue of 50km raced two weeks ago in Taicang finished in 4:40:15.
