The eighteen-year-old Andrada Lavinia Lacatus, who is still awaiting Italian citizenship, is reconfirmed and this year she has already won two titles: the 3,000m indoor and the 20km on the road.
We have already expressed our opinion on the talent of the young athlete.
Today we only add that the result obtained in Agropoli is currently the seventh world performance of the 2018 season over the distance of 10,000m track walk.

A short technical comment

We allow ourselves, and hopefully we do not want to hurt anyone, to insist once again on the standard anomaly that is found in Italian races compared to international ones.
We refer to the relationship between the red cards as consequence of bent knee with respect to the total number of cards.
We have summarized it in the following table that we propose to our readers.

Event

Bent

Knee

 %

Loss of

Contact

% Total %

Men U20 14 93,4 1 6,6 15 100
Men U23 5 83,3 1 16,7 6 100
Women U20 20 100 -   20 100
Women U23 6 85,7 1 14,3 7 100
Total 45 93,8 3 6,2 48 100

The content is commented on by itself.

In our opinion, these percentages seem to give unfortunately the indication of how much the degree of perception of the difference between the errors of bent knee and loss of contact has been lost.
