The battle for the title was resolved only in the final of the race with the victory of Maria Bernardo (POR) of Club Oriental Pechao with the time of 48:30.47 new personal best of the athlete (previous of 49:35.57 established in Montemor-o-Novo, POR on March 17, 2018)
Second place to Ines Reis (POR) in 48:33:25, also for her the new personal best (previous of 48:43.51 established in Vagos, POR on June 10, 2017)
Both athletes, however, have lowered the previous record of the Championships that belonged to Mara Ribeiro (POR) - 40:40.22 - who had always established it in Vagos (POR) in the edition of the U20 Championships in 2012.
