In the wake of what is already doing the IAAF for the construction of an electronic sole for the control of the "loss of contact" are also moving other interesting studies.
In Italy, the Olympic walker Teodorico Caporaso (recently a graduate in engineering and now a collaborator of the Department of Industrial Engineering of the "Federico II" University of Naples) who together with his coach Diego Perez, Giuseppe Di Gironimo and Antonio Lanzotti has published an interesting article about on the SdS magazine (CONI, School of Sports, Calzetti Mariucci Editori) issue 117 (April-June 2018).
