25/09/2018   Taihu Park (CHN): Victories of Eider Arevalo and Qieyang Shenije






 
Second day of competition in Taihu, on a new route that involves a stretch on the road and a stretch in a park for a total of 12km.
Yesterday less hot day and more ventilated.
 
 
12km men
 
A compact group of up to seven kilometers, when leaded by the Chinese, Wang Kaihua and Jin Xiangqian, Lebogang Shange, Isaac Palma and Eider Arevalo advance a group of seven units that will then be reduced.
Shortly after 10km force the pace as yesterday Shange, Arevalo, Livgares.
The two Chinese lose a few meters.
As yesterday, the race is expected with a solution in the last km.

At 800m from the finish line Eider Arevalo force again the pace and goes to win in 47:29

Fifth place for Mauricio Arteaga in 47.54
Sixth place for Perseus Karlstrom in 48:03

Immediately at the head of the race the two Chinese trained by Sandro Damilano, today well determined to a victory in a couple.
After 6km Qieyang Shenije force the pace and the race for gold  is finished. She wins in 50:49
