23/10/2018   Ivano-Frankivsk (UKR): Dmytro Sobchuk and Valentina Myronchuk win 50km Ukrainian Championships






During the weekend between 20 and 21 October, the 22nd 50km National Championships took place in Ukraine, in Ivano-Frankivsk, with some other events.
 
 
 
50 km men
 
At the 10km lead three athletes: Dmytro Sobchuk (47:56), Serhiy Budza (47:52) and Serhiy Susyk (47:57)
At 20km the three still are setting the pace together in 1.35.24
Same situation for the 30km where Serhiy Budza is leading (2:22.18)
The first turn of the race takes place at 34km as Dmytro Sobchuk (2:45:39) and Serhiy Budza (2:45:39) detach Serhiy Susyk (2:45:50).
At about 38km the second turn of the race when Dmytro Sobchuk off Serhiy Budza about 25".
At 40km the passage is as follows: Dmytro Sobchuk (3:08:41), Serhiy Budza (3:09:41) detached Serhiy Susyk (3:10:35)

In this race we witnessed a great performance by Valentina Myronchuk (UKR) who achieved the best result of the day winning the race with a good time of 4:18:50
Always in the lead alone, from beginning to end, these were his steps:

- 30 km: 2:37:12 (51:55)
- 40 km: 3:28:41 (51:29)
- last 10km in (50:09)
