On Saturday 17 November 2018 the 31st edition of the "Espada Toledana" took place in Toledo.
This year's edition took place on track, rather than the traditional 5km route due to renovations.
The distance in the two most important events was that of the 5,000m track walk.
Important the number of athletes at the start, in fact in the two races dedicated to the absolute categories (senior and U20) two timed sessions were played both at the female and male level.
5.000m women's track walk
Victory to Raquel Gonzalez Campos (ESP) in 22:10.9.
This, for the Catalan athlete, is the fourth victory over this distance after returning to the races in 2018 followed by an injury.
She had already won in Barcelona (Apr. 28, 2018 in 21:46.20), in Durango (May 19, 2018 in 22:05.16) and again in Barcelona (Jul 1, 2018 in 21:18.22)

Also for the European vice-champion of Berlin this represents the third victory of the season on the distance after those of Getafe (Apr. 28, 2018 in 20:46.18) and Pamplona (May 19, 2018 in 20:49.19).
