50km (and 35km) women

The race in particular lived on the test on 35km by Eleonora Anna Giorgi finalized on her preparation for the 50km.
Let's say immediately that it was very positive.

Giorgi walked together with Matteo Giupponi and Gregorio Angelini for almost 30km.
Very interesting the split times of the 29 year old on his seasonal debut.
10km in 47.50
20km in 1:35:17 (10km seconds in 47:47)
30km in 2:22:20 (third 10km in 47:03) with a very short stop at 25km for lactate control.
Finally the last 5km in 23:01 that take her to the final goal in 2:45:21.
It will be a coincidence, but it seems that Eleonora Giorgi and Qieyang Shenjie (yesterday in the unofficial test at San Lorenzo al Mare) have agreed on the time to be obtained.

At 35km Beatrice Foresti also stopped in 3:11:27.

The women's 50km was won by Nicole Colombi in 4:27:38 setting the new Italian record (previous by Natalia Bruniko established in 2002, when the 50km women was not yet an official race in 4:29:56).
Second place to Roberta Caraccia in 5:21:34.

The two 20km U20 had the following results:
- 20km U20 men: victory and confirmation of the title for Riccardo Orsoni in 1:28:17 (new personal best, previous of 1:29:38 established in Rome on March 4, 2018)
- 20km U20 women: victory and confirmation of the title for Andrada Lavinia Lacatus in 1:41:48 (she has a personal best of 1:41:12).

10km U18 men: victory to Pietro Pio Notaristefano in 47:21

We conclude our report with a touching moment: yesterday, the hero of today's 50km men's event, Leonardo Dei Tos, on behalf of the previous rave walking Italian head coach Vittorio Visini, placed a bouquet of flowers, accompanied by the historic coach of Anna Rita Sidoti, Prof. Coletta, near the monument that honours the athlete.
