The number of participants was not very large, but the test certainly gave us an exceptional result.

He won the race Perseus Karlstrom (SWE) with a time of 18:32.56.
Let's say a few things about what this performance represents today:
- the best world time of the 2019 season (previous by Tyler Jones, AUS - 20:48.70 - established on Jan 19, 2019 in Sydney, AUS)
- the new Australian All-Comers record
- the new national record of Sweden (previous of 18:51.1 established at Strömstad on July 18, 1993 by Stefan Johansson).
- the fastest time in the world since 2015 when Yohann Diniz (FRA) obtained in Tourcoing (FRA) on May 10, 2015 a great 18:22.41
We add that at the split time to 3.000m Karlstrom got the time of 11:08.27 also this new record of Sweden on the distance and finally that for him this result represents the ninth consecutive victory on Australian soil.
