18/08/2019   Beeskow (GER): Linke and Zurek won the German Championships

Saturday, August 17th, the national track championships were held in Beeskow, GER.

Usually in Germany these championships are held in conjunction with the Masters.
As usual we only deal with those related to the senior activity.
10.000m track walk men
Victory to Christopher Linke (GER) of the SC Potsdam club in 38:57.94.
Despite having a personal best of 38:40.25 obtained in Buhlertal (GER) on 11.6.2016, this performance by Christopher Linke is his second best ever under 39:00.00
This result also puts him in fifth place in the world season list on the distance, right in front of his Italian friend Francesco Fortunato (39:00.79)
Second place to Hagen Pohle (GER) in 39:37.59 new personal best (previous of 39:39.45 established in Diez, GER on 16.9.2017.
Third place to Nils Brembach (GER) in 39:50.04
In the U23 category
Victory to Leo Kopp (GER) in 43:48.24
Second place to Marcin Reumann (GER) in 51: 31.25
