On Sunday 27 October, the 58th edition of the Takatsuki Tournament will be held in Takakata, featuring the All Japan Championships of the 50km.

These Championships are valid for the selection of the national team of Japan for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The race course is 2km long and will run along the Takahta shopping street between Showa-dori and Takatsuki-cho.

It is very interesting to note that the 50km All Japan Championships are held with the support of a sports promotion lottery. All the profits from this lottery are used to support all sports in Japan. Anyone interested in learning more about the subject can consult the lottery website and sports support actions at the following link click here )
