Bolivar 2019 hosts "Los juegos del bicentenario" with the athletics competitions that started on Monday 25th November and will end on Saturday 30th November.
The race races were all held in the morning session on Wednesday 27 November on the Avenida Santander circuit, on the shore of the Caribbean Sea, with the following schedule:
- 5:30 am: departure of the 50km men
- 6:20 am: departure of the 20km women
- 6:40 am: departure of the 20km men
50km men
Only five athletes at the start.
Victory for Jose Leonardo Montaña Arevalo in 4:05:18
Second place to James Aurelio Rendon Villegas in 4:35:34
Third place to Díaz Pineda Jorge Estivens in 4:53:35
Only the three athletes indicated completed the race, 1 DNF and 1 DQ.
20km women
Little more than a training for Sandra Arenas who walked for almost the entire race together with Sandra Viviana Galvis.

Second place to Sandra Viviana Galvis Gomez in 1:46:53
Third place to Carolina Mariño Fonseca in 1:48:38
Four athletes completed the race, and 1 DNF
20km men
Seven athletes at the start and also in this race "end of season results".
Victory for Manuel Esteban Soto Ruiz in 1:30:57
Second place to Jhon Alexander Castañeda Angulo in 1:31:16
Third place to Juan Jose Soto Ruiz in 1:33:14
