Major changes in 2019.

The athletes involved in doping (Lebogang Shange, Ihor Hlavan) have been deleted from the related lists, they will be reintegrated if they return to compete after the disqualification period. As for Hlavan, the disqualification period ended towards the end of the season, his return to racing did not produce results worth considering.

The following have been moved to the Hall of Fame: Benjamin Thorne (CAN), Takayuki Tanii (JPN) and Eder Sanchez (MEX).

The following other athletes have been canceled due to lack of important results Jin Xianquian (CHN), Daisuke Matsunaga (JPN), Hagen Pohle (GER), Ivan Noskov (RUS), Andrey Ruzavin (RUS), Sergey Shirobokov (RUS), Erick Bernabé Barrondo (GUA), and Horacio Nava (MEX).

Were added: Masatora Kawano (JPN), Joao Vieira (POR), Salih Korkmaz (TUR), David Hurtado (ECU) and Tom Bosworth (GBR)
