The editorial communicative choice that Marcia dal Mondo has made since the beginning has been to deal only with the walking activity in the world of seniors, the Juniors (now U20) and U18 leaving out the whole Masters world and the youth world aged U16 and below. All this as it would be impossible for us to keep up with all these youth activities at an international level.

However, we have made some exceptions over time.

We dealt with U16s in the national criteria in Italy and, sometime in Spain.

Also in the "Heel and Toe" report on Australia, our friend and partner in this communicative adventure on the world walk, Tim Erickson, updates us in his weekly column that we publish directly in the section "The walk in the world" of the U16 activity in the distant continent of Oceania.

Today, however, we want to make an exception once again by presenting to our readers the results of the "Hungarian Athletics Championship for teenagers and beginners - 2020".

We must do it as a sort of special thanks to Anett Torma (HUN) with whom we have had a mutual communication relationship for some months that allows us to inform our world about results, rankings and anything else of interest.

Anett is Hungarian, and as a Hungarian, he immediately provided us with the results of the U16 and U14 Championships, of which we report the medalists, while in the link at the end of the news those interested will find the official results.

We couldn't, we shouldn't and we didn't want to say no!

The events

The races took place in Tatabanya (HUN) city of about 70,000 inhabitants in the valley between the Gerecse mountains and the Vértes hills in the middle between Budapest to the east and Gyor to the west.

The walking races of these Championships all took place on Saturday 10.9.2020.
