Charleroi (BEL) hosted the Belgian National Walking Championships on Sunday 18 October 2020.
The most important races were two:
- that of women on the 10.000m track walk
- that of the men on the distance of 20.000m walk on the track
To these events were then added others over various distances between 1.000m and 5.000e reserved for the various youth categories
10.000m track walk women
In this race the best technical result of the day was obtained.
He got it with the victory Annelies Sarrazin (BEL) who finished the race in 55:09.52
Second place in Liesbet De Simet (BEL) in 1:01:08.01
Third place to Myriam Nicolas (BEL) in 1:01:46.2
20.000m track walk men
Victory to Matthias Holtermann (BEL) in 1:45:34.1.
His interest, however, was aimed at the half distance officially clocked in 52:29.34
Second place to Peter Van Hove (BEL) in 1:56:09.7 after passing halfway through the race in 56:14.09.
