01/12/2020   The Olympic Games 20km and 50km double (by Paul F. DeMeester)

Some of our readers will wonder why we rarely give any news about race walking in Australia and New Zealand.

The answer is immediate and very simple.

For the simple fact that in Tim Erickson's weekly column “Heel and Toe Online” this topic is extensively covered. In addition, for an agreement with Tim, he himself has, for years, been responsible for the immediate publication of "Heel and Toe Online" in the "Race Walking in the World" section of our website.

A duplication would therefore make no sense, except for the most important competitions.

Having said this, however, we would like to inform our readers that in issue n. 9 of "Heel and Toe Online" published today December 1, signed by Paul F. DeMeester, a very interesting article is published on the athletes who dubbed in the Olympic Games 20km and 50km.

Paul F. DeMeester's article takes up the first six pages of this week's issue of "Heel and Toe Online", and is very interesting not only for the statistics it presents.

Even the stories and the reasons that the author tells and that are part of the reasons for those statistics are perhaps even of greater interest.

We invite our readers to a careful reading and, why not, to a diffusion.
