The streets of the Cantones will witness again on June 5 a new edition of the Cantones International Grand Prix of Race Walking - Sergio Vázquez Trophy¨ after last year and for the first time in its thirty-four years, had to be canceled by the health situation.

Las calles de los Cantones volverán a presenciar el 5 de junio una nueva edición del ¨Gran Premio Internacional Cantón de la Marcha Atlética - Trofeo Sergio Vázquez¨ después de que el año pasado y por primera vez en sus treinta y cuatro años, tuviera que ser cancelado por la situación sanitaria.
Nominar el Gran Premio de Cantón es hablar de un líder mundial en la especialidad no solo por su calidad organizativa, sino por el compromiso de una ciudad, gente y un público dedicado a su prueba que edición tras edición hace posible que el circuito tuviera Pasaron todas las leyendas y mitos de esta especialidad.
Múltiples premios regionales y nacionales avalan este evento considerado uno de los mejores del mundo en su modalidad y que en 2019 recibiría el reconocimiento final por parte del organismo atlético más grande del mundo, Words Atletics, que lo declaró Patrimonio de la Humanidad bajo las palabras de su presidente.
