- at 5km: Mayara Luize Vicentainer (BRA) lead the race together with Viviane Santana Lyra (BRA) and Elianay Santana da Silva Pereira Barbosa in 27:48
- at 10km: Viviane Santana Lyra (BRA) leads the race in 55:21 (5km seconds in 27:33) on Mayara Luize Vicentainer and Elianay Santana da Silva Pereira Barbosa.
- at 15km: Mayara Luize Vicentainer leads the race again in 1:22:02 (third 5km in 26:41) on Viviane Santana Lyra, who however returns to the lead the next lap.
- at 20km: Viviane Santana Lyra in command in 1:48:37 (quarters 5km in 26:35) with Elianay Santana da Silva Pereira Barbosa (BRA).
- at 25km: Viviane Santana Lyra passes in 2:15:16 (fifth 5km in 26:39), but already from the next kilometer Elianay Santana da Silva Pereira Barbosa leads the race and will no longer be reached

Also in the men's race there are only six athletes at the start at the start, but among them there is the great favorite for the victory Caio Oliveira de Sena Bonfim (BRA) who boasts a time of accreditation on the distance of all respect (2:41:27) obtained in San Paulo, BRA last 13.6.2021, although Brazilian statistics credit him with a personal best (and national record of Brazil) of 2:39:19 obtained in Rio de Janeiro on 19.8.2016.
At the time, Caio Bonfim achieved this passing performance (he was in 11th position) on the 50km of the Olympic Games, which he then finished in 9th position with a final time of 3:47:02 (also Brazil's national record).
