Another test of the World Athletics Race Walking Tour yesterday on Good Friday.
A once again, after two weeks, in the Czech Republic, this time in Olomouc for the traditional edition of the Olomoucka dvacitka organized as usual by the Atletisky klub of Olomouc.
 
The scheduled races were those of the 10km road walk for men and women, which were accompanied by the master races on the same distance with as many as 46 athletes at the start.
In addition to these, a series of promotional competitions on short distances dedicated to the very young with excellent participation.
 
 
 
10km men
 
There are 25 athletes at the start.
 
The most titled for the victory are Vit Hlavac (CZE) and Lukas Gdula (CZE) who, in order not to deny the predictions, immediately set themselves at the start.
They pass together even in the middle of the race, covering the 5km in 21:29.
The closest of the opponents is Adam Zajicek (CZE) who passes in the middle of the race with a delay from the leading pair of exactly 120 seconds (23:29).
Further behind Roman Hanyk (CZE) in 24:05
 
The second part of the race takes place at a slightly faster pace, probably due to the attempt of the two contenders to get both the victory.
At the finish line Vit Hlavac (CZE) is in first position in 42:43 (with the second 5km covered in 21:14).
Second place to Lukas Gdula (CZE) in 42:48 (with the second 5km covered in 21:19).
Third place went to Adam Zajicek (CZE) in 49:31 (with the second 5km covered in 26:02) also held in check by two red cards due to loss of contact, but passed by the winner of the masters Milan Rizek (44 years) in 46:08.
 
 
 

 
 
 
10km women
 
The women also showed up at the start with 25 athletes.
 
And even in women, the battle for the victory will be between the two stars of the Czech Republic: Tereza Durdiakova (1991) and twenty-year-old Eliska Martinkova (2002).
The cup also passes together in the middle of the race, covering the 5km in 24:05.
The closest of the opponents are Alzbeta Franklova (CZE) and Klara Hlavacova (CZE) separated by 2:47.
 
In the second part of the race the young Eliska Martinkova (CZE) asserts the weight of the youngest age and arrives on the finish line in first position with 40 seconds advantage in 47:16 (with the second 5km covered in 23:11 ).
Second place to Tereza Durdiakova (CZE) in 47:56 (with the second 5km covered in 23:51).
Third place to Alzbeta Franklova (CZE) in 53:35
