The 38th edition of the Honved Cup in Athletics took place last Saturday 18 June in Székesfehérvar (HUN).
As usual, two walking races were also proposed to the public over the 5,000m track walk distance.
5.000m track walk men
Seven athletes at the start.
Quite easy and expected victory by Bence Barnabas Venyercsan (HUN) in 20:29.80 which boasts a personal best of 19:46.82 dating back to last season and obtained on the same track as the Bregyo Athletic Center in Székesfehérvar.
Second place to Tomasz Bagdany (HUN) in 21:00.86
Third place to Norbert Toth (HUN) in 21:37.91
5.000m track walk women
Also in this race there are seven athletes at the start.
Undisputed victory of Barbara Olah (HUN) in 22:27.96 who caresses her personal best (22:19.06 obtained in Debrecen on 27.6.2021).
Second place to Rita Récsei (HUN) in 24:75.83
Third place went to Tiziana Kinga Spiller (HUN) in 25:02.56
