It has recently appeared in the specialized press for web sites in Italy that sanctions are foreseen by the privacy guarantor for those who continue to use Google Analytics 3 or similar services on their websites and also for those who have used Google Analytics 3 or similar services in the past.
They are services for having statistics on who visits web pages, but they are illegitimate if they transfer data to the USA, without guarantees for the interested parties. The Italian Guarantor has, in fact, rejected version 3 of Google Analytics with a provision of 9 June 2022.

Our provider has informed us that from September 1, the link that produced this kind of statistics has been deleted pending clarification from Google to the Privacy Guarantor.
It goes without saying that we find this decision quite ridiculous, to which we may have to reluctantly adapt.
