The annual Hungarian Märcz Róbert Emlékverseny was held this year also in Pécs but the tradition has been changed: the competition was organized on the track instead of the road. 

The meeting was open and some Serbian athletes took part also on the competition, like regularly year by year.

The main goal of the event was to break the U23 20.000m track walk record.

Unfortunately it did not happen this time. 

Dóra Csörgő fought for the new title but after some km she was struggling with stomach problems and pulled out from the race. 

At the men's field also nobody could finish. The same happened at the women's youth 10.000m walk event. The weather was unusual warm at this period of the year (22 Celsius and sunshine).

The younger walkers had more luck and walked brave: some of the race walkers did new personal best at 3.000m and 5.000m.
