On Sunday (18th) took place in Getafe, the 24th edition of the Associação Desportiva Cerro Buenavista Walking Trophy .

The most important event was the 10km race walk valid as National Masters Championships.

10km road walk men

Twenty-eight athletes at the start.

Early leader was Miguel Espinosa Olivares with the following split in first half part of the race:

- 1km: 4:19

- 2km: 8:35 (4:16)

- 3km: 12:59 (4:24)

- 4km: 17:28 (4:29)

- 5km: 21:59 (4:31)

At half race he was followed by Jose Mestre Martin (22:18) and Miguel Diaz Velasquez (22:19). Six seconds behind them Daniel Jimeno Rivera and Daniel De Lucas Chanquet both in 22:25

During the 6th km Miguel Espinosa Olivares received the 3rd red card and was stopped in the penalty area for 60 seconds.

The situation at 6km was the following:

- leaders Jose Mestre Martin and Miguel Diaz Velazques walking shoulder to shoulder (26:27 - 26:48)

- followed by Daniel Jimeno Rivera and Daniel De Lucas Chanquet (26:54 - 26:55)

- in 6th position was the early leader Miguel Espinosa Olivares who passed in 27:18

- at 7km: Jose Mestre Martin (31:13 - last km in 4:26) in front of Daniel Jimeno Rivera (31:20 - last km in 4:16) and Daniel De Lucas Chanquet (31:22 - last km in 4:37) together with Miguel Diaz Velazques (31:22 - last km in 4:34)

The fight for the victory continued between the first two until the passage at 9km.

These are their splits:

- Mestre Martin: 8km in 35:41 and 9km km 40:11

- Jimeno Rivera: 8km in 35:44 and 9km km 40:11

In the last lap the athlete of Alcampo Scorpio 71 detached the opponent and won
