Behind him is the Mexican Ricardo Ortiz, detached at the 25th km, who arrives with a delay of almost two minutes in 2:26:15 while the Brazilian Caio Bonfim (2h27:48), Olympic silver medalist in the 20 km and two-time world bronze medalist, is third.
