As for the two races on the distance of 12km in Taihu as there are no scores in the tables for these races, we proceeded to a mathematical interpolation on 10km (unfortunately we are not in possession of the split time to 10km).
The two times would correspond to 39:57 and 30:40 on the 10km distance, which in turn would result in the following scores:
- Arevalo: 25.9.2018: 1.132
- Arevalo: 25.9.2018: 1.144
If we add to these two performances the score obtained in the 20km (1:23:23 equal to 1.119 points) and we make the average we get a score of 1.132 obtained three days in a row in three different events.
Our choice of the best athletes of the month of September therefore falls on the winner of the 2018 edition of "Around Taihu", despite the scoring level the time obtained by Perseus Karlstrom, on the occasion of the Finnkampen 2018, is superior.
We are led back into this choice also in the fact that in the three stations of Around Taihu 2018 never Perseus Karlstrom (who scored a total mark of 3:01:39) has questioned the leadership of Eider Arevalo (who scored a total mark of 2:58:09).
