This morning the 50km Portugal Championships took place in Porto de Mos (POR) with an intermediate point at 35kkm.
50km men
Seven athletes at the start.
Pretty quiet victory for Joao Vieira (POR) in 3:51:46.

50km women
The last 15km Sandra Silva (POR) competed alone for the foreseen absence of Ines Henriques, while up to 35km there were still in the race Mara Ribeiro (POR), who preceded her and Alexandra Lamas (POR).
However, she managed to establish her personal best on the distance in 5:07.10, improving the time set last year (5:08:13) on the 7th of January also in Porto de Mos, under one minute more or less.

A good number of athletes at the start who saw 15 athletes at the start.
Up to 30km at the head of the race were Joao Vieira (the partial ones are those of 50km) along with Miguel Rodrigues (POR).
In the last 5 km Miguel Rodriguez tries to stay with Joao Vieira also because the latter has another 15kn in front of him, but he can not do it.
